The Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit is repairing the channel's retaining wall on Jalan Rawa Simprug I, RT 09/12, Grogol Selatan Urban Village.

Thus we need to repair it immediately thus the damage doesn't get worse

Kebayoran Lama SDA Unit Head Andrian conveyed that five personnel had been deployed to repair the retaining wall which collapsed last Wednesday (6/8).

"It is repaired to follow up request from Grogol Selatan Urban Village Head to South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency," he said, Friday (6/10).

According to him, the 3 meters high retaining wall collapsed along 12 meters. The repair was targeted to finish next month.

"It collapsed because it was eroded by rain. Besides, the soil around it is prone to landslides. Thus we need to repair it immediately thus the damage doesn't get worse," he explained.
